Gulki, an orphan raised by her cruel stepmother Madhumita, dreams of becoming an air hostess and giving her younger sister a better life. Madhumita, however, runs an illegal business that kidnaps eligible bachelors and forces them into marriage—pakadwa vivaah style.

To escape her circumstances, Gulki uses this system to arrange her own fake marriage to her friend Shashank, planning to leave town afterward. But the plan goes awry when Aditya, a stranger, is mistakenly kidnapped and married to her instead.

Aditya, shocked to find himself married, initially resists. But seeing an opportunity to escape his own family’s marriage pressures, he strikes a deal with Gulki: pretend to be his wife for few months, but act like a terrible daughter-in-law so his family will kick her out. If she refuses, he’ll expose her scheme.

What begins as mutual blackmail soon turns into emotional chaos as Gulki and Aditya start falling for each other. Gulki realizes Aditya is trapped in a manipulative household run by his controlling aunt Mohini, who is after his wealth.

The story follows Gulki’s journey to open Aditya’s eyes to his family’s true intentions—and the slow burn of unexpected love between two people who were never meant to be together.
